FileMaker #2.1

Thursday, July 23rd 2020
6:00pm - 7:15pm Eastern (NYC)

In this session, we will expand on our solution from Chapter 1, this time starting to focus more on the improvements that we can make on the instrument data side of things.

Future lessons in this chapter will expand the instrument records side of our database into a fully featured paperwork printing solution, as well as a focus photo tool.

Topics we’ll cover:
  • Tabbed Layout Objects
  • Making a Gobo Database
  • Showing Gobo Images on Instrument Records
  • Making Gel Swatches

How can I participate?

The session will be broadcast on YouTube (see above video) – you are also able to participate live on Zoom, if you preregister using this link:

If you don’t own FileMaker, you can download a free 45-day demo here.

You’ll want to complete the previous sessions before moving onto this one.

Please download the two .fmp12 files from GitHub before starting this session. You don’t need any other files from these directories:

Gobo Library
Color Library
